Belated Happy Chinese New Year! The celebration of Chinese New Year here in Hong Kong started from Feb. 7 to Feb. 9 (Yes, I’m living in HK by the way). Last Feb. 9, I went to Tsim Tsa Tsui to witness the celebration of the Chinese New Year. I had a lot of time taking pictures during the fireworks display which started at 8:00 PM. Here are the spectacular fireworks that I took in the celebration. Enjoy!

Ha ha, Starbucks sponsor. =P

Number 8! ^_^

Orbitz O_o

After the fireworks (8:40 PM), I took this pic. =)

So, there you have it! Those are the pics that I’ve taken in the celebration. Pardon me if most of the pictures are blurry. It should have a high resolution, but the problem is that most of the pictures’ original size are 1600 x 1200, and that wouldn’t fit. Besides, I used my cellphone to take pictures, so I just edited the pics. Hope you had a happy Chinese New Year!

Clairvoyance

February 10, 2008 - Leave a Response

Hello readers! This is my 2nd blog. Actually, my original blog is at RO diary.com. The only thing that you’ll see in this blog are pictures, pictures, pictures, and more pictures (That means there are less words and more pictures!).

Taking pictures/Photography is one of my favorite hobbies. Mostly, I like to take pictures of scenic views, special events (Like birthdays, New Years, etc.), and other stuffs that’s interesting. I made a blog at WordPress because it wouldn’t be right for a blog to mix pictures over words in everyday life, especially in my blog. That gave me the idea of creating a blog for pictures only.

Other things that you might recognize is my blog title, which is the word “Clairvoyance”. So, what is Clairvoyance anyway? Clairvoyance was formed by two French words from the 17th century. clair meaning “clear” and voyant meaning “seeing”. So that means clairvoyance = clear seeing! In real life, clairvoyance is a psychic ability; but in this blog, it’s the other way around. I took the literal meaning of the word, which is “clear seeing”, and I think it’s a perfect definiton when pertaining to pictures/views (Just make sure that the picture is clear to you!).

Now, I’m starting to upload pictures for my 1st post here. Till then, I hope you’ll enjoy! ^_^
